Hugh is the world pioneer in small scale wind turbine design and the catalyst for The Clean Energy Initiative. He has taught on many courses, and written the best selling ‘Scrapyard Windpower’ and the Windpower Workshop’. He runs his own company Scoraig Wind electric, has made and installed hundreds of turbines and generators. He is consultant to several wind turbine manufactures and international wind projects (Zimbabwe, Ghana, Sri Lanka, and Nicaragua).
