Generating clean and sustainable wind energy for Mozambique.
The Clean Energy Company (TCEC) passionately pioneers clean and sustainable wind power as a solution for limited grid infrastructures. Remote off-grid public development programs and private sector construction projects are ideally placed to benefit from wind power. Mozambique’s 2,800km of coastline and seasonal trade winds offers enormous untapped potential for clean and sustainable wind power generation that could benefit its population, create new industries, jobs, possibilities, and bring ample, high-quality power to its own population: rural communities, schools, health centres, residential homes and small enterprises along the ‘wind-strong’ inland, coastal and inland regions all have the potential to be powered by, and benefit from, the wind.
In regions with a limited grid, low population densities:
Decentralised wind powered water-pumping systems can deliver clean water for local domestic and agricultural needs.
Small-scale wind powered micro-grids can provide off-grid lighting for small businesses and allow students to study after dark.
Wind power can be used for food preservation by offering means of dehydration and refrigeration of fresh produce.
Used along-side a generator, a wind turbine is a cost effective means to off-set the consumption of expensive oil-based fuels.
By working with local supply networks, appropriate renewable technology and intelligent innovation we are helping to positively impact of the key socio-cultural, economic and environmental challenges facing Mozambique. Click on a square below to learn more about us...
